Stiff Ropelength Minimized Knots

These pages have knots minimized with respect to the stiff ropelength. The basic idea is that there is a impenetrible tube about the knot core and this tube has a hard bound on how quickly it can bend. We make available a variety of visualizations and data associated with tight knots and links as a service to the community. This work is in collaboration with Michael Piatek and Greg Buck.
